Moments!

We all know time keeps moving whether we like it or not. And life is fleeting. I think that’s why we like to mark special days or celebrations or moments. Today was one of those times. Two people  who have played a part in my life for many years celebrated a new adventure. And we were all there to celebrate it and deem it precious together. Which brings to mind my own special way of creating a memory that will be there for me to reflect on over and over. In the Old Testament the Israelites would mark a momentous or miraculous occasion by building an altar to the Lord. So here’s to “building an altar” as a reminder every time we pass by of the good and wondrous , even small things that have made an impression …let’s enjoy these happy thoughts as they move past the windows of our minds!
